Safety & Your Natural Lashes
- Will extensions damage my natural lashes?
- Not when they're applied correctly. Damage comes from two things: extensions that are too long or too heavy for the natural lash they're attached to, and lashes that get glued together at the base. We weight every set to what your natural lashes can carry, and we isolate each lash so it can shed on its own natural cycle. If your lashes aren't in good enough shape for the set you're asking for, we'll tell you and recommend something lighter instead of taking the booking.
- I had a bad experience at another salon. Can you help?
- Yes, and this is a lot of what we do. Come in for a consultation first — we'll look at the condition of your natural lashes and tell you honestly where things stand. Sometimes the answer is a careful removal and a rest period before any new set, and if that's what your lashes need, that's what we'll recommend. We'd rather you leave with an honest answer than a booking you'll regret.
- Does it hurt?
- It shouldn't — most clients fall asleep. Your eyes stay closed the whole time and nothing touches the eye itself. If you feel any stinging or burning at any point, say so immediately and we'll stop. That's not something to push through.
- I have sensitive eyes or allergies. Can I still get lashes?
- Often yes, but tell us before you book so we can plan for it. We do a free allergy patch test ahead of your appointment, and we can use a low-fume, sensitive adhesive. If you've ever had a reaction to lash glue, adhesive bandages, or hair dye, mention it — that changes what we use. If you wear contacts, plan to take them out for the appointment.
- What are your credentials, and how do you handle sanitation?
- Work is performed by a licensed esthetician. Tools are disinfected between every client, disposables are single-use and thrown away in front of you, and each station is sanitized between appointments. We've been doing this in Norco since 2013.
Your First Visit
- It's my first time. What should I expect?
- We start by talking about the look you want and looking at your natural lashes, then map a set to your eye shape. A full set takes roughly two to three hours depending on the style. You'll lie back with your eyes closed the whole time — bring headphones or just nap. You'll leave with aftercare instructions and a recommendation on when to come back for a fill.
- How should I prepare for my appointment?
- Come with clean lashes and no eye makeup — no mascara, liner, or oily moisturizer around the eyes. Skip caffeine right before if you can, since it can make your eyes flutter. Take contacts out. If you're getting a full set, use the restroom first — it's a long appointment.
- Which set should I get?
- If you want people to notice you rather than the lashes, classic. If you want noticeable fullness that still reads natural, hybrid — that's where most first-timers land. If you want dramatic, volume or mega volume. You don't have to decide before you arrive; we'll look at your natural lashes and recommend what they can carry.
- How long does an appointment take?
- Timing depends on the service and professional. Check your selected appointment in Vagaro, or ask the studio how much time to allow. The Russian Volume set description says application may take up to two and a half hours; other services can differ.
Pricing
- How much do lash extensions cost?
- Pricing depends on the style of set and whether it's a full set or a fill. Our full menu is on the services page — and if you're not sure which set you want, call the studio and we'll help you figure out what fits.
- Do you have any specials or discounts?
- Check the studio's Instagram or ask the studio about current offers. We only quote an offer after the studio has confirmed it.
- How often do I need fills?
- Every two to three weeks for most people. Natural lashes shed on their own cycle, so a set gradually thins out rather than falling off all at once. Vagaro lists different refill tiers by style and elapsed weeks, including some three-to-four-week options. The right service also depends on your remaining lashes; ask the studio about eligibility or work from another salon before choosing a refill.
Aftercare
- How long do extensions last?
- The individual extensions last as long as the natural lash they're on — usually six to eight weeks — but because your lashes shed on a rolling cycle, the set thins gradually. Most people come in for a fill every two to three weeks to keep it looking full.
- Can I wear mascara?
- You shouldn't need to — that's most of the point. Don't use waterproof mascara or an oil-based remover on extensions; both break down the adhesive and shorten how long the set lasts. If you want extra drama, come in for a fuller set rather than adding mascara.
- How do I take care of my lashes?
- Keep them dry for the first 24 hours. After that, cleanse them daily with a lash-safe foaming cleanser — clean lashes actually last longer, and skipping this is the most common reason a set underperforms. Avoid oil-based products around the eyes, don't rub or pick at them, and brush them with a spoolie each morning. Sleeping on your back or a silk pillowcase helps.
- What if I want them off?
- Come in and we'll remove them safely with a professional gel remover — it takes about half an hour. Please don't pick or pull them off yourself. That's the single most common way people damage their natural lashes.
Booking
- How do I book?
- Book online through our Vagaro page to choose your service and appointment. For questions before booking, call the studio.
- Do you take walk-ins?
- We're appointment-only. Lash work takes hours of dedicated time, so we reserve it in advance. Check our Vagaro booking page for available times, or call the studio to ask about an appointment.
- Can I request a specific artist?
- Yes — you can pick your artist when you book online, or tell us who you'd like when you call the studio.
Booking Fees & Cancellations
- Is a card or holding fee needed to book?
- Online booking requires a card on file for the cancellation policy. Full-set service descriptions also require a non-refundable 50% appointment holding fee, paid by Cash, Zelle, or Venmo. A full-set appointment is not confirmed until that fee is paid. Review the current Vagaro terms and ask the studio for payment instructions.
- What's your cancellation policy?
- Give at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations. Late cancellations and no-shows are subject to the service's posted fee. Full-set holding fees are described as non-refundable; do not assume a fee transfers when rescheduling. Review the current Vagaro policy or the website's policy page, and ask the studio about your specific appointment.
- What if I'm running late?
- Call the studio as soon as you know. Vagaro's posted policy gives a ten-minute grace period; arrival ten minutes late or later may require rescheduling and the late-cancellation/no-show fee may still apply.
